There's only Crosswords, Fitword, Sudoku and Wordsearch. I was hoping to pinch more ideas for Foldapuz from these sorts of things. Bah, humbug.
The Crossword interface isn't all that great.



Tap on a placement, then tap solve, then the crossword flips over to the left and the keyboard pops up on the right, then you enter the full word (previous letters aren't auto-filled) and then you tap the enter key, and then the interface flips back around.
These are those clunky sort of "quirks" that would gradually get smoothed out as developers learned how to use the DS's two screens properly, but .. Man, looking back at these early games.

Power Rangers : Wild Force
This game has the best music quality of any game I've played this month.
Just listen to the quality of that intro. ...

.. It goes downhill after that, music wise, but the gameplay's quite nice.
It's an isometric platform beat-em-up, and it's a fairly sturdy one at that. Nice and fast paced, decent animations.
And even though the areas are typically "DS-Sized" and small, the fact that the sprites are also small gives things a much more open feel.

Go, Go, Power Rangers, indeed.



Mario and Sonic at the unspecified Olympic Games (Beijing 2008)

This is the first of the Mario+Sonic games, and it's a nice capable little game.
A bit of a shame that most of the games require you to bugger up your DS's lovely screen by sliding the stylus rapidly around at a fast pace, because otherwise I might play more of this.
As it stands, I value my DS much more than I'd like to play this game!!
