All I can say is that, as bad as some of these gifts have been, at least we didn't spend £220 on them, like Ashens and Nerdbubed. Those calendars are fecking dire!!!

Indeed.. I was incredibly tempted when I saw the Bog Cube, but.. Not at that price. That's WAY too high for Tat!

Wow, yea, £220 for those calendars is unbelievable. I'd not value either above £20 for what has come out of them so far. On day 1 I thought there were going to be models in them for that price and size of box, not Christmas cracker filler.

I've not had an advent for a while, but I did buy a milkybar chocolate calendar this year. Nothing to post on that unless you want to see the pictures on the door lol...but I do have a guilty secret...every month I spend £3.99 on the lego star wars magazine as it usually has a pretty good lego set on it, in miniature of course. Here's this month's:

I'm a massive Lego Star Wars fan and have pretty much every Lego SW set ever (excluding a couple of the larger recent ones (eg Gunship and AT-AT)). But putting the pennies away and hoping for something LSW related for Christmas.

I also create Lego BrickHeadz models - most recently Animal Crossing ones, but I've done about a hundred SW ones (and others). A small selection are available on Rebrickable - https://rebrickable.com/users/iprice/mocs/

Some of those Animal Crossing models are excellent (catch the likeness very well). I wish I had the space to collect all the Star Wars lego ... very jealous. I had all the original Star Wars lego (was it late 1990's when that came out?) which my son inherieted and dismantled, then got him loads of sets growing up but that was a while ago. Still get him a little set every birthday / Christmas. These little ones from the magazine fit nicely on my desk ... for now.

Those Lego SW foilpacks are all incredibly good tbh. It's incredibly difficult to make detailed models out of so few parts.

As for space - yeah, I get that. I don't have the space either tbh, so I have to build and dismantle sets all the time. I store them in bags in the loft.

Good grief!! In bags!!
What a waste.
Time to create your own life-size Millipede Falconer.

Rockford, are you selling those on that site? And is so, are you willing to sell one to me privately instead of going through yet another site to have info scraped?

- Odd combo for caramels...

- Oooooooh, you're all heart. Except for the butter fingers!

- No helmet or wings. He's definitely not going to be Buzzing anywhere... I do like the stylised look of these ToyStory characters though.

MY old boss did a coaster for each staff member for Christmas last year - her's looked the same as yours and your Mum's. I think that's exactly how everyone's looks!

- Crisps. Nom Nom Nom

- Those snowflakes look pretty good. Why do you need glue with pipecleaners? They can be twisted together.

- Repeats are shit. Even if the original is actually pretty good.
