Socoder -> Misc Gaming -> GTA IV - Episodic extras...

Episodic, but Exclusive to X360
Oooooh!

On the one hand, MS'll probably charge a ludicrous amount for the extra chunks, and people'll get really cheesed off about it.
But on the other hand...
Lots and lots and LOTS of people are waiting for GTA before grabbing a PS3. If the 360 has extra chunky bits, and it's the cheaper console...

I recently read in an interview that they'd pretty much finished off the game, and were now building up more and more missions using their relatively easy script builder. If that's the case, then the X360 episodic contents could be pretty interesting. Sure, it might not be whole new cities and stuff, but there's plenty of people out there who play GTA properly* and would love to add extra missions to the game.

I dunno, but it looks like this might very well be the clincher in the whole X360/PS3 thing.

*I don't play GTA properly. I've NEVER gotten very far, story wise. I just love messing about in the cars! Gimme an unlock cheat, and let me play!!

whoa n wow!!

hmmmmmmmm!!???!

like I told a friend and with that
awesome game "Gears of War"

I will save up and buy an XBOX 360
if and only if these games are ported over to it:

Titan Quest, Dungeon Siege 2, Heroes of Might and Magic V,
Starcraft 2, Diablo 3( ), and especially Fallout 3
and Hellgate London.
now, this too!!
well...gentlemen, if and only if Fallout 3 and Hellgate London are ported over then I will save up and buy
an XBOX 360.
I...I will even forgo the XGS II/XGS 6502 and also
the Cobra 3d. In order to acquire this complete,
and complex console.

im probably going to end up buying a 360 just for this game, so i dont have to wait for it to come to the PC. But the 360 has lots of other great stuff so it wont be like im spending $400 on gta.

what other great stuff?

yeah, I don't want to shell out $400
just for Fallout 3 and Hellgate London.
But perhaps...this 400 plus tax will be
better than buying a whole new computer anyway.
In which, I will definitely use to buy and play these and other games too. Among other things too.
But I have my other 2 computers for these other things...
like programming, the internet, watching DVD movies, etc.
Also I have a portable DVD player too.
Besides, both Blitz3d and Pure Basic will work and good on my low end spec of my Compaq computer. And even the up n coming Nuclear Basic will too.
