I use a Lenovo. Lenovo isn't sexy.. or at least, this one isn't. Great big clunky thing. .. but that's exactly what I need!

(Although I could do without the resetting.. it's happening alarmingly often, now.. eeek!!)

Oh, and HiTec trainers were good enough!

Whenever I'm selecting a laptop, the first thing I check for is that it has a numpad.
No numpad, no buy!

My last two and current lappy have all been HPs. They've all offered features that I needed at a price that fits. I don't particularly care for any manufacturer or brand.

@Kuron - I was recently looking at an RCA Cambio Win10 and found them very tempting, but unfortunately they don't have such good deals this side of the pond (£250+ approx. 3-4x higher than I've seen the same product in the US.) and import taxes and postage would push the price up to UK proper lappy prices. Shame

@Jay - I never, ever use the nunmpad.

How can you live without a Numpad!? You crazy people!!!

Growing up with a CPC6128, then moving to the A600, I sure as hell learned how much I used the Numpad!!
Never again.

No need (and thanks anyway). My lappy is fine for now. I was just thinking that a cheap one like that would be perfect to take to work with me on night shifts.

Still rocking the same PC since 2011 over here. It still works well, although I have my maximum processor and RAM. I'd still like to bung a 1Tb SSD and more recent graphics card in there to squeeze it further before finally building a new rig futher along the line.

Lately i have gotten a little suspicious of ssd drives. Turns out they have a limited life. Some drives can only do 3000 writes per byte. Depending on the class.

Though i have not read a lot of stories of the things dying.

SSDs are a LOT better than they used to be, but you need to get a decent brand. Buy cheap, buy twice.

I'll be saving for a Samsung 850 most likely then
