This'll probably turn out to be crappy, lame, and incredibly childish, but until proven otherwise, I'm going to act completely excited about the fact that ITV appear to be resurrecting the Thunderbirds!

Gorgeous looking miniature model sets!

They use to show Thunderbirds on TechTV when I was in high school. And they'd have little trivia boxes pop up throughout the episode, pointing out toothpaste caps or whatever else they used to make the set. I loved that show. Hollywood made a live action one a few years ago - no good. I don't see this being successful unless puppets are involved. :/

It's not entirely awful, according to this. .. But it IS still a kids show, so...

Yeah, the CG characters stand out in static shots, but once you see them in motion, they're not.. ... Terrible.. :/

I think "not terrible" is going to be the general consensus for this one..

Well, it wasn't awful.
It just wasn't great either.
Very middle-of-the-road..

Terrahawks is getting (/has been) redone as an audiobook.

I jokingly asked on Twitter how they'd manage to do Noughts and Crosses in audio, and they replied suggesting it's already been handled in one of the episodes...!!!!

I don't have a narrow enough attention span to be able to listen to Terrahawks as an audio book, animation was invented for a reason and that reason is to extend what was once only possible as an audio broadcast.

I listen to lots of stuff at bedtime. Radio 4 comedy's, podcasts and other such goodies.
Lots of audio-stuff for me!!

I loved TerraHawks back in the day, but if Windsor Davies isn't available then I won't be a happy bunny.

I still have high hopes for the return of The Trap Door. Sadly Mr Rushton won't be available for that
