Bringing my multimedia world bang up to date, I finally signed up to Netflix..

Why??!
I can't be arsed fucking about with torrents, anymore, when the resulting downloaded "DVD rip" things turn out to be shitty quality TV captures, with bloody US adverts springing up all over the damn things...

So, I figured, what the heck, and signed up.
Flicking through the list, there's an awful lot of great TV shows to watch, along with a megaton of movies.
There are things missing, too, though.. South Park, Simpsons, Family Guy, all missing..
Die Hard 3s here, but no more than that.
It's a bit of a frantic selection, if I'm honest..
But .. There's tons available, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be quite content with all the content!!

I might finally become a movie buff... ... But I doubt it!

For those intrigued, here's a current list of everything on Netflix (UK)!

I was interested in NetFlix once, but then, when reading a few things about it online, I decided against it on the basis that because I'm in the UK, I automatically qualify for a substandard service when compared to our US cousins across the pond, as in, major lack of content when you compare.

So, said bollocks to it!

We did that recently also been watching season 3 of that murder thing that I suddenly cant remember the name of. Apparently you can spoof your country and get the US stuff, but no doubt that means signing up to all sort of virus ridden servers and such.

I'm not going to faff about with that stuff, if I'm honest. I'm quite happy with what I'm already getting for 5.99 a month!

Gotta find something to watch, tonight, now..
*shrugs*
There's such a thing as too much choice!!

Productivity level slipping!!!

I loved UP! Very adult beginning that breaks your heart before the film even properly starts. And then it's joy-joy feelings for the entire movie. Love it.

Last March'ish, I bought the DVD boxset of Atlantis, but have only watched about 4 episodes from it due to lack of motivation to be bothered to fuck about with DVDs anymore!!!
Watching them on Netflix feels like cheating!!

I remember that. The Super Marios Bros Super Show (or something like that). It was crap, even back then, but still a hundred times better than the Bob Hoskins Super Mario film.

I've seen worse films, but rarely ones with so much money involved in the making of it, with so many well known actors.

I stand by my claim that if it wasn't a "Mario!!!!" movie, then it probably isn't all entirely that terrible. It's at least watchable.

The same would probably be true about most other franchised movies too. But the point is it IS based on Mario - a non-franchised film containing all the other things based in the Mario world would have made it even more mental. The problem was it just wasn't really Mario enough (despite the hundreds of references). It really just didn't really look or feel like anything Mario related.

Didn't watch anything for a couple of days, but settled back down, tonight, and watched Being Elmo, which is that documentary about Elmo's puppeteer.
Another of those "never got around to it" movies.
Cracking film

Kuron Does the Elmo film doesn't go into the puppeteer's child molesting?

If you think Elmo got it bad; Sooty, Sweep and Sue must be in need of a shrink by now.
