I'd pay it just for Dr Who.

If I start counting the amount of BBC stuff I watch and/or listen to, it really does mount up pretty quickly.
Daily Radio4 comedy at 6:30. Saturday's Pick of the Pops on Radio2.
Breakfast TV.
Have I got news for you.
Mock the week.
Heck, I don't think I've watched any comedy on a channel other than a BBC channel for a LONG time!! Or at least, not anything I've not had to download, anyway!

Consider the fact that iPlayer gets a daily use, and I'm always using BBCs website, too, I kinda feel like the license fee is well worth it.
Sure, the BBC sure as hell shows it's fair amount of utter shite, but you have to take the bad with the good, and .. In my case, at least, there's enough good to make it worth my while.

The bit that pisses me off is how people still get charged a licence fee when they have to pay shitloads to get mostly the same basic channels over cable and satelite.

I added up the stuff that I REALLY want to watch on BBC the other day. It amounted to absolutely nothing. Cam up with Doctor Who at a push, but other than that...

I wish the BBC would advertise and abolish the licence tax fee altogether.
