Unexpected event of the week. Seems the wire that came with my iPod Touch is fuxorzed. How lovely. I can't check this for certain, because, of course, Apple changed the damn connector, and I only have this one single wire. So, my choices were... A) Take my wire and iPod to the Apple store. As most of you can probably guess, this is NOT an option, right now!! B) Give my wire and iPod to someone else to take to the nearest Apple store (12.5 miles away), not knowing if I'll get the same iPod back again, and not having recently backed anything up. This is sort of an option, but I can't think of anyone who I'd like to meither to do it!! C) Buy an extra cable, test with new cable, if cable works, send old cable back to Apple with strong letter of bitchyness. Hey, this is me we're talking about! I might not have any money to splash about, but if there's a possibility of a good rant in store, I'm all in!! So, how much is a Lightning cable, then?! ... HOLY FUCKNUTS!! £15 for a fucking WIRE!? Shitting balls! ... So I ordered two, so's I'd have a spare, and a lightning to MicroUSB thingum, too. Fuck sake... Meanwhile, I now have a rapidly diminishing battery on my iPod, fuck all way to charge it, and impossible to dev on the thing. Gee, thanks Apple!! And, apparently, this is a common issue with lightning cables. :/ -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

No! We're a driverless family of none-drivers. We live in a small village, with a regular bus service, and three fairly decent towns nearby for shopping. As a family, we've never needed a car, so none of us are drivers. -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''
