What we used to do with one of our noisy neighbours, just put up with it at night, then, because you know they were up al night partying and will probably sleep all day, get up nice and early face your speakers at the wall and let them have it, choose music they probably wont like too. Having a music fight at the same time wont win you any battles, but for every night they keep you up, wake them up far too early

its probably better to knock on their door a couple of days later and explain, fighting it out behind closed doors will only end in tears. Saying that one of my neighbours, a few doors down, would always get drunk, fall out with her bloke, have a domestic, get the police involved and one time she drove into my car twice while pissed. They would start their old knackered transit van at 6am and go inside for a brew. After speaking to them they refused to do anything so we contacted their landlord and they got evicted due to the many complaints they have had PS: she paid for the repairs to my car, not all bad

I remember some neighbours we had when I was about 7 years old. The kids kept blasting out their music whenever the parents went out at night, the 18 year old penis brain was supposed to be looking after the younger one's, not encouraging them. The oldest had the cheek to tell my parents "the volumes on number 1, it's not going no lower", lying bastards!. My dad then said "number 1, I'll give you fucking number 1, you c***s!". We used to have a JVC CD-4 Demodulator/Quad Amp thingy, state of the art at the time, sold at Harrods and limited edition. My dad only turned the knob about 1/4 of the way and the neighbours switched-of their system with embarassment. They finally got the message!
