Offline, BlitzMax!
If I were to switch to anything, right now, it'd be that Blitz Monkey thingy.

Online, DD's PlayMyCode.com is enough for me.
It's a play langauge, a toy builder, a thing to make random oddities with, but it's also fleshed out enough that I can make something even bigger with it. You need only look at my recent Puzzobomb to see that it can handle level data quite nicely, (191 levels all wrapped into a single .png file) as well as the fact that your games end up in the browser at the end.

Not sure I'd bother with anything else, at the moment, to be honest.
Things are way too chaotic in Jay's codey world!!

I'd be interested in building something like this, or based on some other IDE, for PMC to allow you to build more in less time.

I personally think you should only have to code out the tricky bits, but that a lot of game content could be generalized. For example many 2D games need a tile based map system; regardless of if it's platformer, strategy game, pac man, RPG or something else.

Is that one of those drag'n'drop things?, I find those a bit confusing!
