for the last 18 hours the routers wifi has been unusable. Turned out the fix was to manually change the channel; I’m thinking the other 12 routers I can see are all using my channel too!

Yep, that'll be it. Happens all the time at work, and it's REALLY annoying. About once a month, we play "which channel works best?" and play around with it.

What makes it even worse is that switching it to "Auto" usually results in it being the shittiest... Stupid damn Auto! -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

On mine auto picks the standard channel for your region, which my router says is 1 for Europe. So if everyone uses auto then everyone uses the same channel (which clearly isn't a good idea). That's why it sucks.
