The new Amiga successor is soon to be launched, and it will have new games to make the launch worthwhile.

|edit| I just hope they are going to launch it as a complete system with a casing, not just another one of those HYDRA-Style kit thingies. |edit|

I don't think that any of my future PCs will be an Amiga or any sort, the A1 with AOS4 failed I don't see this being any different. The Amiga should be left in the past so that it may be remembered as a great retro machine, not badly revived so that people remember it as a failure.

If it were to be successfully launched, can you seriously say that you wont be tempted?

|edit| I too wont hold my breath though, I will believe it if I see it! |edit|

I'm not 100% sure that I'd need one, now.
Having finally gotten this...

..to work, I'm managing to do everything I needed to do with my Amiga.
..
Plus... I don't think I've any more space for a 4th desk!

What you need to take into account thought is this: The NatAmi is not actually supposed to be the new Amiga, it is merely an Amiga compatible and it can apparently do a lot more than the original. Problem is though, unless they have designed a casing for it to go into, it may not do so well!

The following text is on the homepage:

The NatAmi does not revive or copy an A500/A4000. It will be a succeeding Amiga model not done by emulation - it is done by reconstruction. Up-to-date and good performing components are used to retain the efficiency. It will rely on the original philosophy - but remove old limitations.

The NatAmi is an AMIGA compatible machine, allowing you to natively run original Commodore Amiga software.
