I will be going through Accelerated C++ over the next two weeks in preperation for a C++ graduate job-competition I've applied for. If anyone else has a copy and is interested in going through, we could run it as the next super-fast C++ book class.

Anyone interested???

I have to take a test for the competition on January the 20th, plus this is going to be aimed at programmers who already know some C/C++ and programming in general. That's why I want to try doing this as an ultra speedy version.

Sounds like an impossible mission to me as well, but trying doesn't hurt. Read this: parashift.com/c++-faq-lite/. It should warn you of some pitfalls, and maybe even potential interview questions.

I have very good knowledge of C and Java, and have done some basic C++ DirectX tutorials before with few difficulties. So I'm hoping it'll mainly be the language syntax and features I'll be learning rather then any new concepts.
