I've got it working on both (well, I used wine for it in Linux, but Windows 98 and XP ran it ok), but as I said, this version is sucky and the next version will use decent libraries that should exist as stanrard.

ok, i can't wait till my ubuntu CDs come in so i can try it out on linux

i am going to make sure i have OpenGL and wine installed, BMAX freakin rocks!!! after i learn C/C++ i will be able to use it's inline functions and add some things like mic input and probably learn to make dll wrappers(oh the headaches)

still can't wait to play this thing and don't worry with time your skills will get better and you already have a good understanding of 3D math so it is only a matter of time before your games made in C++ get better

i will start 3D after Max3D comes out or i will use the MiniB3D modules

Yay for Ubuntu!

Anyway, the next version of this C++ thingie is already written, and not badly coded... I did it just after the one you're currently seeing. Only thing is, I just haven't lifted the finger to upload it!
