Another word to be trademarked.

This time it's FaceBook, they are going to trademark the word "Face". Good thing us Brits have the word moush or moosh then innit!

IMHO, we're all going to be running out of web names pretty damn quick if this carries on. We may even have to use to IP addresses instead. It will be as if you are dialing a phone number, can you imagine the size of a web-directory, compared to a phone-directory?. One would be Thompson Local and the other would be Thompson Not So Local!. Scary thought... Thompson might TM the word Thompson or Local next.

It's pathetic that this is even allowed in the States. I really hope they don't end up registering the trademark.

I thought Mark already had trademarked it. That's what I read someplace else (I think it was in a Norwegian online newspaper).
Anyways, this is nothing...

You and I now have to pay taxes to Spain in order to stay out in the sun...

I suspect all of these Moon, planet and Sun buying sprees will be made null and void the moment they actually have an impact on our lives.

yeh, you can't really charge for something that you have no control of.
