If there's one thing I hate

It's level editors.
You might've noticed that lately I've been using text based, or image based level layout designers.
It's not because I'm lazy.. It's because I'm sick to death of constantly remaking level editors that almost always end up the same.
By now you'd have thought that I'd have designed some generic multipurpose level editor thing.
I haven't.
I prefer each editor to have it's own little quirks. Things that make that editor special.

..
Meh..

Either way, here I am. Sitting typing garbage into a blog instead of actually coding the editor.

Guess I should get a move on, huh..?

Heh, this has got to be the millionth time you've said that!

I think I have the opposite problem. If I attempted a level editor, it would be the One Level Editor to Rule Them All (fully scriptable and themeable, of course!)...

Or at least, it would be until I gave up.

I think I have more map editors than games... because I start on an editor, and never make it to the actual game.
