According to the graphic, as of February 2023, Linux and Chrome OS both have the same market share: 2.9%

If nothing else, it is great there are many choices now.

I love how xp just keeps on hanging in there for a long long time

Looks like I'll be using xp, 7 and Linux for the future for as long as possible then, esp considering that steam will not work on win8.1 downwards from Jan 1st 2024...I'll be a ...Linux gamer?!

XP will never die in our lifetime, it is still used on too many embedded systems in manufacturing and other places.

Personally, my fave version of Windows will always be NT 4. XP is a close second.
