Link Look

|edit| Moved from Kuron's New Life thread |edit|

I've just noticed that Kuron's been posting a bunch of links with Bold and Underline tags, thus making them .. more or less completely unnoticeable using my current theme. An astounding number of links on his posts that I've never noticed.
I'm going to have to fix the css to make those stand out better, I think.

The original BlitzCoder theme doesn't underline links, so it stays truer to the original site's theme.
Should I add that?
I probably should...

Moved from the other place too...

Make them that way (on any site or blog) as browsers do not automatically underline links anymore and many of us old farts do not notice it is something to click on unless it is underlined. Bolding helps as us old farts really do not see well.

Well guess it didn't move as it still shows on the blog and now looks out of place since Jay took away what I replied to.

Indeed, someone (me) just discovered that the delete button doesn't appear to be working in comments!!

Looks like a SoCoder code day, today!

I know, not enough glue evidently and stuff is falling apart.

SoCoder needs no glue. It's held together with all the "Fix this bug" sticky notes.

This is a link, for test purposes.

Right, it's hardcoded into the BBCode stuff.
If anyone wants to complain about the new look of the links, preferring the older version, let me know and I'll look into a more "option" way to do it.

Also, the Delete Comment button is now working.
Previously it wasn't working because I copy+pasted the "post comment" code, and forgot to delete the "If length(post)<2 then allow=0" bit.

Basically, you were hitting delete and it was checking the length of your input, which didn't exist, so was disallowing your "post" and not performing the function.

Derp..

I've started a new RIP Thread.

I previously made one at the start of Covid when things looked REALLY rough, but at some point we all gave up using that!
I'm as much to blame as anyone, but the amount of deaths in the past few weeks has been almost up to 2016 levels.

I've made the thread to let us contain the depression a bit.
If it's someone you REALLY think needs a thread of their own, then you should do that, I'm not going to stop you.
But for most Celebrity RIP things, let's try to keep it to one corner of the site, instead of being everywhere.

Agreed, probably best to contain all the rips in one place, nice one.

Web / Game Dev, occasionally finishes off coding games also!

Sound good to me. The world is in a bit of a meltdown right now. Let's hide from it and keep ourselves lighter than a bag of Quavers!
