Anyone else see the parallels between ye olde time - sharing computer server resources in the 60s and 70s, and the 'modern' idea of cloud computing os's like Chrome OS and Windows 365...🤔

If broadband was infinitely better, I can definitely see it becoming a more predominant thing.
The only thing really messing up my time spent with Xbox GameCloud was the shitty connection.
Fix that, and .. Yeah, I can definitely see it happening.

With the climate maybe going insane I might even think it would become normal not to buy hardware and use cloud instead. In germany, close to a hundred people died with the floodings.
