Right, am I getting stupid here and have a massive bit of brain rot...

I want to chop a byte into 2, high nibble and low nibble, now my brain tells me this:-



But it's outputting 15 for both nibbles in Blitzmax.

Now I'm not being thick am I? I've used nibbles in the past to squeek more info into a byte, and I'm bloody sure that worked!?!

I’ve had that issue SO many times!! I think, iirc, Blitz2D/3D used And, whilst Max and monkey used &.. or something.. I definitely remember using And at some point!!
