Been a good 5 years since I bothered with any Linuxysies, I'm afraid.
I had major issues with Linux audio. What worked on one OS didn't work on others. My old BMax Linux games may or may not be silent, depending on a seemingly random set of circumstances.. The Android of PC OSes!

I find Linux nowadays less of a faff... Though I do still remember my first outing with it... I was like "What the f*** is going on here!!!"

I even had to go out and buy a proper modem for it, none of that winmodem shite ISP's used to chuck at you, cost about £45!

Though, when I'm fidgeting stuff about now on a PC, be it windows or linux, I quite like to do it in the terminal, its comfy and you get that "I'm using a computer" feel like you used to back in the day!
