In these days of Multiple scoring methods, and different kinds of stats, do you still use classic Scoreboards in your games or do you prefer to have a single Best Score for multiple attributes, or progress reports and that kind of thing?

Well... I've never really implemented anything like that. But when I do (for the game I am currently writing), I'll probably implement a classic high score table, just because that's the kind of game it is (classic sidescroller).

So yeah, I guess it really depends on the kind of game. A classic high score table wouldn't have worked in Age of Empires, because people like to compare the different attributes of their civilisations.

YayYak is right on. It depends on the game, and comparing different attributes in an RTS also allows the player to make their own opinion on how they have performed, as scores made on multiple attributes aren't always very accurate.

One big complaint of Panzer Dragoon Saga was how at the end of a battle it would give you a score of "Perfect" or "great". The trouble was that it wasn't very well worked out. For example you could dodge all the enemies attacks, then perfectly time your own to go in for the kill and it would say something like "just survived" because you moved around the enemy (in order to dodge attacks) too many times.
