Jayenkai	The little i strikes again, only this time, it's not Apple doing it.. DSi!!! Nintendo's retweaked DS with Built in Memory, an SD Slot, DSWare (ala Wii Ware), a 3Megapixel Camera on the outside, a VGA camera on the inside, MP3 capabilities, and... dum-dum-durrr.. Phoenix	With the Wiimote and a console with two screens, I was expecting their next console to have arms and legs and a built-in coffee machine. An upgraded DS is a bit of an anti-climax. Not that I'd buy one anyway... \|edit\| Oops, I was under the impression that this would be the next console in their product line, which it apparently isn't. Then it makes sense that there are no completely radical new features on it. \|edit\|

spinal	Yup, it seems the DSi does not support a number of Slot-2 devices, such as RAM Pack Rumble Pak Guitar Hero Controller Arkanoid Controller As well as semi-legal slot-2 (gba) flash carts and unofficial RAM and Rumble carts. -=-=- Check out my excellent homepage!

spinal	They did announce a DSWare download system similar to the WiiWare thingy, I would assume they are going to do what they said they would with the Wii and offer a cheaper (still far too expensive) dev kits for rich homebrewers and add homebrew to the download 'service'. The current software companies care far too much about piracy to help homebrewers. They should listen to that guy from stardock, who noted that some of the best selling games have had no copy protection at all. Software dev's should completely ignore pirates, as 1. they would never buy software in the first place, so there is no lost earnings because of them, and 1. re-read as needed. Jayenkai	The problem that Nintendo are facing with Homebrew isn't just piracy though. If it were, Games 'n' Music all round!! Their main problem, which they've just amplified tenfold, is that their still selling ye-olde games on emulators. If homebrew can exist legally, I guarantee all the emulated "Virutal Console" stuff would be completely fooked. The only Real way to do it, would be how MS have done it on X360. Close off the area, and only allow "everyone" to enjoy a select choice few of them. I really hope Nintendo go that route. .. But I doubt they will. -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

Jayenkai	Yeah, I heard 3, then 0.3.. People weren't sure.. I'd heard that the outside is 0.3 (640x480) but that the inside is ONLY VGA.. (As in, that's specifically different, and significantly lower resolution..) Now, VGA's 640x480.. .. So.. For obvious reasons, the doubt was out there for quite a while.
