I don't think it needs to be multi-threaded. Having multi-threaded functions might be something to look into in the future but surely it's fast enough now for masses of 2D games anyway.

Lol, you give up too quickly...
Assuming you're using a default cube dimensions ( w=1 h=1 z=1 ) then in the right info panel change 'Snapping' to 'Raster' and set the 'Raster Width' to 1. Your cubes will then move around using *snip*

Super easy to learn 3D modeller for MacOS and works perfectly with a trackpad is Cheetah3D ( (Linkage) ). Been using it for years and love it. Not browser based though.
