Buttons!!!



Today, as I uploaded Alien Spindome for OUYA-Review, I noticed they've added new compatibility options in the game upload page.
You can now tell them if your game is Mojo compatible, and surely in the future, they'll be adding more systems into the mix.
Looking at Alien Spindome, and it's tutorial-esque level, with "O Button" and "A Button" specifically named, I realised I needed some generic button icons.
Spent a good hour or so working on these little icons, added them to my generic font, and then popped them into the Text() function.

I'm currently trying to find a nice way to switch between controller and keyboard buttons, but for the most part, I'm happy that the basic functionality at least works!

Hmmm...
I know what the game after this one will be, but I can't seem to decide on what this week's should be.
I've spent most of the past week working on my framework, and adding in the controller button icons, as well as tweaking a few things to make them a little more "Monkey v78" compatible.
But I've yet to start on a game.

On to the next one!!

Since we're up to the last week of the month, it's time to get busy on a "Platdude in..." project.
This month, I've decided it'll be a Joust-ish game, and having doodled a Platdude-on-a-bird, I've got the basic physics of the player up and running.
