I remember playing this Space War type of game on the Trs-80.

But what I really remember playing was those Zork and other text adventure games. And especially the Scott Adams ones of Adventure International too.
I also remember yes!! Temple of Asphai. Where, you walk around and adventure in this top down 2d maze.
