So I found some old blitz code...20th March 2013 Tried GLBasic on my work laptop, I couldn't compile anything even when ran as an administrator it said it could't find the project file. Will give it a go tonight, looks straight forward so far. |

Linux Magazine...20th March 2013 I have a ton of Linux format magazines, While my subscription is still active I can download PDF versions? Any requests? It is expensive though. Didnt mind the *!APOUND!*13 for 6 issues subscription but I just didnt read them all. I have some still in their w*snip* |

So I found some old blitz code...19th March 2013 Even on my rubbish work laptop the framerate sticks at 60fps. went up to 1080p res and was fine. Time to get downloading GLBasic |

Mog's New Avatar19th March 2013 that is one thing that annoys me about so-called 8-bit graphics. just making it blocky doesnt mean it will work on an 8bit machine! good work on the art though, way better than anything I have come up with |

So I found some old blitz code...19th March 2013 GLBasic looks sweet. Before I take the plunge, can I do 2D programs that are fast in the free version? The feature list suggests sprites and whatnot are 2D but I thought I would check first. |

So I found some old blitz code...18th March 2013 Well I gave it a go and it runs ok, but gets 24 fps on an i5 2500k 8gb ram and ATI 7770!! not sure I understand the terminology to quickly convert the code from 2d to "2d in 3d" my brain hurts |

So I found some old blitz code...18th March 2013 I found some backups of my RPG game in Blitz3D, ranging from 2005 to 2002! Its all in 2D code, how much of a pain is it to convert it to 3d? Should I start again and use it as a reference? How do you even work Blitz3D it has been 7 years? whats a sprit*snip* |

NAS Storage12th March 2013 find yourself a little motherboard (I have an intel atom one) and should debian on it, install samba server (a tick box on install) and you have a nice NAS. Mine runs on a 1.6ghz single core atom with a gig of ram but could easily run it of something slow*snip* |
