ROG Ally's still £399 if you want to spend a week and half doing Windows updates!

Yeah, I'll pass on that I think! Golly, it's going pretty badly then I take it?

No Man's Sky's playable, but I'd really not have spent £399 on another edition of No Man's Sky!
Same with Emulators. They're a dime-a-dozen on Windows, but I've also done that for decades.

Currently playing a few Xbox games before the 3-month trial runs out. .. But.. Gosh, I'm really not a modern gamer, am I?!

There's a 2Tb Sandisk Extreme Portable for just over £100. I bought a 1Tb one last year for backups, and it's nice and fast and sturdy.
..... Takes forever to show up as a drive when you plug it in, though.

I'm not exactly modern with gaming either

GT:Sport, TF2, and the rest, I'm happy with that. I reached the point where I don't really desire to purchase any new games...Well, maybe Balatro, that's been tempting me for a while.

I've been baking all sorts in the kitchen on a weekly basis for the loveiles at work recently, gingerbread, cinnamon buns and festive swirls, next up, snickerdoodles!

Gingerbread, the thicker the gingerbread, the tastier oh my gosh! The baby loaf i made, cut into sticks, top dunking in tea, coffee, etc.

Cinnamon Buns...well, yeah, swirls again, with some thicc cinnamon icing

Festive Swirls ( like cinnamon buns but with mincemeat and ginger in the dough, icing)

Audiosurf 2 is currently £3.19 on Steam, so if you've recently purchased some tech that might be able to play the thing, you're quids in!!!

It’s General Election Day in Ireland. I submitted quite a few cartoons based on it. But this last minute idea occurred to me and I had to knock up in like 15 mins or miss the deadline. It’s in the latest Phoenix Magazine.

I bought some prezzies for the kids, stuff for the Christmas Quiz and Stuff for my works Secret Santa, totalling £80 so far. I ordered myself 5 shiny lil things also which will be kinda cute.

Will do the rest of the Xmas shopping over the next few days hopefully, not planning on having saved up more than 5 shiny lil things this month

Arizona : Doesn't seem my kettle of fish.
Horror : Even less of my kettle. My kettle is a very particular type of kettle.
VRider : Now this one.. ... Mmmm. Might be tempted to try this. I haven't yet tried anything really in motion, in VR yet, and I've been searching for a nice looking racer. This one .. yeah, I might try it. Essentially any racing will be forward, and I'll be able to hold my head still like I do with SynthRiders and BeatSaber.
.. But trying to find something that looks "fun" but also "not like it's someone's port of an Unreal Tutorial" has been quite hard.

As for Lego Bricktales...
Bought this upon initial release, as it looked lovely.
Started the game with Mixed Reality on, and it let me move the "base" exactly where I wanted it. You could "head zoom!" right in, and it looked bloody gorgeous..
THEN..
It moved the camera.

And, I have NEVER felt such a jarring camera move in all of my life playing video games.
Because... It wasn't like a camera move. The camera is my head, and my view of the room and mixed reality didn't move.
Only the graphics moved.
And that was SO bloody jarring. It REALLY freaked my head out, and I had to GTFO of there, ASAP.

My mum gets loads of wrong item Amazon deliveries. I only use Amazon if I really have to, I don't seem to get many problems with eBay.

Cool, they're real 👍

Just need a rainy day to try them out. Bought entirely out of curiosity (waterproof socks)

Cool! As someone who hates clunky usually-waterproof-until-they-aren't shoes or boots, I never used to wear anything more than plain trainers. Socks would always be drenched after a long walk home after work.
Waterproof socks sound amazing!
Hope they work as promised.
