Question of the Day : September 7th

If you could have lunch with one person from history, who would it be?

If you weren't going to impact the timeline at all, it'd be cool to chat to someone like Charles Babbage, and show them all the modern wonders that they've helped create.
.. Just. you know.. keep them out of the comments sections, or they'll have a nervous breakdown..

If Ada Lovelace could be brought back she would have a proper geekgasm.

People who don't try to do something that they can quite easily manage. I'm definitely someone who's done this on multiple occasions, but it's really frustrating seeing other people do it, especially with technology.
Like "I don't know how to post X/Y to Facebook".. But they manage to post everything else to Facebook.. It's just the one button to the right of where they usually tap, but they wouldn't ever dare try to tap on that, instead.

In my case, it's stuff like 3D games, Online Multiplayer, things like that. I know I could if I "really" tried, but I just don't ever bother to try.

Laziness. I hate it about myself and I definiteyl hate it in others. I'm lazy as fuck.

I'm just too knackered most of the time to do anything "extra." I go to work and I get the important stuff done, but after that? Nope.

Don't be mad at lazy people. They didn't do anything.

.. that I'm really super interested in behind the scenes stuff. I found the building of the new Coronation Street to be a really fascinating behind the scenes thing to watch. I also enjoyed seeing how they would end Neighbours. It doesn't mean I'm bothered about either. I stopped watching any soaps a long time ago, but I was really fascinated in the "how" of such long-standing things having an ending or a significant change.

See, not interested in the slightest.

Question of the Day : September 10th

Have you ever faked an illness to get out of a party?
Sat, 10 Sep 2022, 03:53
Jayenkai
I HATE when the music's too loud at a party.
Background music I can deal with, but when some jackass decides that the family gathering needs to be about blaring music, and extremely heavy bass, that's a migraine straight away, followed by not being able to hear a sodding thing that anyone's saying.
Why music Party = Deafening Music?
Bah, humbug..

... But, no, never faked an illness, though I've missed out on a heck of a lot of family gatherings over the past decade or so.

Question of the Day : September 11th

What's your greatest fear in a relationship?
Sun, 11 Sep 2022, 03:53
Jayenkai
I feel like we already did this one, but the same kind of answer as last time.
That the relationship breaks down within a few weeks because I'm too engrossed in my coding/composing/etc, and barely give any time to the other person. I'm a smegging hermit, and it's not a good thing.

If you had to delete one app from your phone, which one would it be?
Mon, 12 Sep 2022, 02:07

I've a number of useless things on here. If it were something I actually use, though, I could probably get rid of KorgGadget, and all of its companion apps, eating whole Gb of my storage.
.. but I haven't!
"It'll come in handy," he lies.

I go through my phone regularly and remove stuff I haven't used in a while, so nothing, really. I do wish some of the stock apps could be removed, but I can't be arsed sorting out a clean Android build.

The sound of scratching on a certain plastic, one of those tightly packed spiky ridged ones, just makes me feel all urrgghhhhh-y.

Can't explain it better than that sadly... oh well
