PHS	Was just telling moms I'd do that near our local grocer. Then I thought, better not, don't want to get sued from a frivolous lawsuit. I did used to spray paint a circle around potholes that were bad though.

Dabz	This wasnt you PHS was it:- https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tees-48068866 ? hehehe What I've been told from people who work for the council, is, there is a cheapo cutting corners way of repairing potholes, and there's a proper more expensive way, but the repair last's a lot longer. Basically, the cheapo way is just to drop tarmac in, give it a thump, move on to the next. The proper way is to cut the edges of the top layer back to solid, prime everywhere, then fill it up and whack the lot down with a whacker plate. Guess what councils do... They think they are saving money but it doesnt last five minutes and it all ends up a bit of a false economy setup, and as we know, is usually the council way. What annoys me about this, as an an example, where I live, the road out of the village had a new surface put in, all shiny new, looked lovely... Then, not even a month old, they started digging it up in places, god knows what for, but they had holes everywhere. And because they back filled it the shitty way, now, every winter, the road becomes a mess.
