It IS rather impressive..
But then, so was the UE4 tech demo, and *checks* 7 years ago!? Feck!!

I would LOVE videogames to start looking this impressive, but I think we're a long long way from that happening.

The ps5 and new xbox wil have a SSD drive that can act as memory. The ps5 has a ssd max speed of 10gb/s(compressed) Further the video capabilities I thought was mentioned to be at the 2080 nvidia level. Both consoles have 16gb of memory! The price should be around the 500$ mark, which is rather impressive for these specs.

Early next year the new nvidia cards should get on the market and it was mentioned the raytracing performance would be increased by 4 times. The 2060 would have the raytracing power of a 2080ti.

Recently minecraft raytracing beta was released and I am now actually looking into getting a raytracing card. Though the prices are still rather crazy for even the lowest end laptop with a 2060.

Other than minecraft there are no games I actually feel like playing. No matter how good they look. The elder scrolls 6 might be years away.
