So the question is, then, just how usable is BambooBasic without a mouse!?

I must drop my Packard Bell mouse half a dozen times a week (usually as a result of a dog's tail whipping it to the floor, or pulling the cable as they run past). I've had it about 10 years and it's still going strong. I'm totally amazed it's still alive.

lol, its not that, it's basically navigating around the GUI OS on the Pi that it's turned into a bitch, as some of the guides I've used on Mint to set up Vala packages and their vala bindings are on the interwebs, with download links etc etc, I've tried the sudo apt-get install kitchen-sink-1.0-dev in the terminal, but, the packages arent being found, thus, got to get them through the gui route.

Basically, the idea tonight was to build my brand spanking shiney editor on the Pi, but alas, not gonna happen now!

The mouse came with the Raspberry Pi starter kit, so was probably only worth a quid anyway, just need to get meself a new one, stupid Maplin!

Ah, my dog does that, but tends to like a swipe at a pint glass, cans, bottles or a wine glass, bloody murder when people come around because it goes forty to the dozen as she's pleased to see people and whoosh... Me, on knees, with a clothe trying to get the bugger up while she just sits there with that "What you doing?" look on her, when she knows fine well!

I was wondering how long that whole thing would last since it looked like it was made well but was physically prone to abuse or little shock

Do you need to set up some fundraising for a new mouse

I got a rapoo wireless mouse and keyboard from maplins, was £35 but its rock solid, metal backed keyboard and mouse can store the tiny usb adapter if transporting it.

Lol, nah, just was a little miffed that it it broke even though it was relatively new... I could probably get a replacement, but since it is indeed cheap shite, ill just get a decent one!
