It was REALLY difficult to get started, compared to simpler software I've used.

I ended up with the 3D workspace replaced by 8 giant copies of the same toolbars and every time I tried to close one I opened another by mistake!

But animation is SUPER easy. Last time I did that in a program I had to manually link vertexes to each bone. Its just magic in Blender!

Today I'm gonna try and texture him haha

Ah no for Go: blender can export to a few formats like DirectX but not many people have written 3D mesh loaders yet! There's one for .obj but that doesn't do animation

Aah, ok!
Sounds complicated, but I'm sure you'll figure it out. The few times I've tackled anything in 3D, it's not been "that" hard to figure out the data formats. It's the whole modelling thing that usually breaks whenever I try it
