Socoder -> Festive Threads -> Gamma Collexion - Multiplayer?

Time to start thinking ahead to Xmas, and this year's Advent Calendar.

For Alpha Collexion, I made silly little minigames.
For Beta Collexion, I made slightly larger games, with a little more replayability.
This year will be Gamma Collexion, and .. This may be a ludicrous idea, but I'm considering making it a local multiplayer collection.

Have four "ports" on the titlescreen, allow players to join/leave with a simple buttonpress, and then basically take it from there.
I'll need secondary "Play Settings" for each game, and will also need to implement AI Bots for spare ports.

... Thinking it through, that's one stupid challenge I've set myself.
I'm going to need to make 26 games, each with Bot AI players, and I only have about 4 months to get it all working, if I want it finished in time for December 1st.

Crikey!!!

I'm currently trying to come up with a nice list of retro-styled games that might work in "up to 4-player" modes.
If you have any ideas, be sure to pop them below.

How about a Pang! type game where 4 coloured bubbles bounce around. Players can only pop their own colour bubbless. Bubbles burst/split a la Pang! Control is with cursors, rather than moving a player. First to pop all their balls wins.

Perhaps power ups can drop (which all can grab/use) which affect either their bubbles or the others', eg freeze bubbles, slow down bubbles or speed up bubbles.

This could be the next BomberMan!
