Making levels..

Ngh..

I'm starting to run out of ideas.

This morning I added "Mad Bomber" into the Retro Collection. Turned out much better than I expected, and a bug even ended up influencing a game idea.
At first I made it "20 bombs, wait till you catch them all, speed everything up, 20 bombs again."
But a bug caused the next set to be dropped earlier. Not that there's anything wrong with that. It made the game a little faster paced, and that's what the collection's about! So, out went the pauses, and I stuck with the Bug's way of doing things.

Handy, those bugs!

The main problem now is that I'm running out of game ideas that can be played within an entirely random playfield.
If I'm to continue, I'm going to have to start making levels. Either that, or do pseudo-random levels.. But they never quite turn out that well.

I've been avoiding levels, thus far, because I felt they'd limit the replayability of the game.
I still think that.
..
I'm not sure what to do at this point.
...

Any suggestions?
