Kuron	S-tube is the only youtube alternative I know of, but that's more geared for TV boxes than touch screens. I use the Windows version of FreeTube and could not be happier.

Pakz	In 2 countries you need to pay a dollar a year to post tweets. This to limit bots. Maybe a quick roll out following? Spam bots have been getting a lot more frequent. I suspect this might be done deliberately to get the 400 million active users to start spending a dollar a year. Btw. A buck might be worth it. I stil use twitter.

Jayenkai	I typically only post to it when I feel the need to get the attention of a particular company. The other day I tweeted to point out an evil advert on NintendoLife. I've also recently nagged Team17 to make that Arcade Pool sequel, and also pointed out to KORG that Gadget is now a decade old. Other than those things, and the odd reply, I've not really been using Twitter at all, any more. Now that typing "twee[enter]" into the address bar no longer leads to Tweetdeck, and instead gets me to a Bing Result page where Bing Chat tries to explain what Twee means.. Pakz	Notifications are said to be turned off today. And those hanna 'like' bots are stil active. Edit: just when I opened and started using Facebook. Twitter reported a notification from today. i think they are working on ways to lure more people to their app.

Pakz	Instagram is starting to mute non paying users. They are giving the option to users to only show messages from paying users. No idea yet if interaction like responses from non paying users wil be hidden too. Seems this might turn into something that is going to be used on other media's too.

Jayenkai	I don't think that matters as much as people think it does. I don't think I've used the "Local" thing at all. Once you're following/followed by a number of folk, if they're retooting your content, your toots end up on that person's local instance, too. I think variety is the best option.
