I've been searching for a trailer, but all I can find is a set of quotes from various original devs, and footage of the old games.

Then it dawned on me.
.. is that new footage from the new game?
Is this actually the trailer?
*shrugs*

I have to say that I gave the original Turrican games a fair crack on a number of systems and I really couldn't get into them at all. They bored me within nano-seconds. It's strange that I love the Metroid games, but not these. I know there are differences, but there are more similarities.

Still, I know everyone on the planet loves them, so why not bring it back. And Factor 5 are cracking outfit with some great games to their name.

I'm sure I'll still hate it, but yeah.

Factor 5 were the original devs.
I think at this point the new team are handling most everything, with Factor 5 only chipping in thoughts/ideas/license..

I wasn't saying that they were doing the remake - just that they are a great team (and have done better games since)

Does anyone remember the original rogue? Black and white game using ASCII character set for graphics?

That was the first game I bought for my GameCube (well, together with Luigi's Mansion and Tony Hawks) - it really was an awesome Star Wars experience, and one that has never been bettered for me. Lego Star Wars came close, but not that close! It really showed what the GameCube could do when in good hands.

The GameCube released in the uk on May 3rd, but mine was delayed a day (grumble grumble postal service) and turned up on May The Fourth with Rogue Whichever!

I got mine on release day. It might not have been Tony Hawks I got first (with the other two), it might have been Super Monkey Ball; I can't remember now. I know I got SW:RS and Luigi's Mansion day 1 though - as those two were all I played for a while.
