I don't know why you're storing a boolean in an integer value. Even in C where you can do this without a problem, it's probably a logical error to give a value two meanings in that way.
TVShack Extradition

Come to think of it... if this extradition is what it takes for the UK court system to avoid being infected by the insanity laws in the US, then it might actually be a good thing!

Yes, but he couldn't have been without a UK court order. Just because someone makes a decision in one country doesn't automagically make it valid in another country, is what I was trying to get at.

So completely retarded. One thing is what the american court system rules (the american court system is bat fuck insane), but when the european courts are following up... this needs to stop.

I really doubt that. The difference would probably be smaller from say, BlitzMax to C# and XNA, but right now the Project Dollhouse client is around 14,000 lines (including comments), and I would not be surprised if it would take at least 20,000 lines (inc*snip*

Hm, I've read it too, but that was a long time ago. I can't actually remember it being that offensive? Except for some stuff at the beginning where John and John were mistreated by their dads who didn't like them playing games.

PlayMyCode vs Kids

The issue, the way I see it, is that the teacher either wasn't able to, or simply ignored the chance to, inform the student about the rendering technique from which the "experiment" had been named.
Not sure which of the two possibilities is worse.

PlayMyCode vs Kids

Still, the teacher should have been able to identify raycasting as a rendering technique, and could have at least recommended "Masters of Doom" as an informal introduction to its application in a game for the first time, or pointed the student to a website*snip*
