I can't believe how little work I've done, this week.
It seems that every single "ten minute job" task I've chosen to do, has inevitably ended up taking half a sodding day to do.
One of the worst things I've attempted, this week, was trying to get a Linux compile from Monkey-X.
Three days of utter insanity, and I'm still trying to install the damn thing, never mind get it to compile anything.
Why must Linux be so damn fussy!?
And why isn't Monkey-X a little more stable with it's Linux stuff?

Hmm.

Why Linux? One of my Patreon subscribers (the only one!) asked if I could achieve Linux .exe's.
Long story short. No, I bloody well cannot!!

I'll be keeping the VirtualBox based Ubuntu installation hanging around, to I can gradually chip away at the task.
If I can manage anything further, I'll let you know!

Nothing about Brexit!
Instead, I spent some time (far too much fucking time!) trying to weed out the last remaining issues with that damned pound sign.
It's mostly sorted now, but as with all SoCoder fixes, it's probably broken something else that I've not noticed yet!

Of course, since having fixed it, I've now remembered that the "Comments" database is seperate from the "Posts" database, meaning I'm going to have to go through all of those, similarly fixing the 8-bit £s to Unicode £s

UK chip company (not the potato variety) ARM have been bought out by a Japanese company.
Hopefully they don't fuck everything up.
I own a lot of devices with ARM chips, going right back to my first Orange SPV smartphone.

; Micro NES!

Nintendo finally realise there's a market for retro mini-TV connecting consoles, and create a mini NES that you plug straight into your telly, for super retro gaming fun.
Hopefully they continue on this trend and release a SNES and maybe even an N64!!
.. And, god help us all when the Gameboy Rerelease comes with Tetris and Pokemon built in!
