Yesterday I posted about a lack of variety in AGameAWeek, lately.
I've started to make a ludicrous amount of Top Down Maze games, and frankly I'm getting sick of them.
Yet, it seems I'm stuck in some kind of "Feedback loop" as @Haze(with many underscores) put it.
I'm literally fighting with myself, in order to rationalise each game, and aren't getting very far at all with any of them.
I'm seeing Top Down Mazes everywhere. And when a game isn't "Yet Another Top Down Maze", it's "Yet Another Space Shooter" or "Just another QTE" or "Oh god, another bloody Platformer!"
I'm desperately running out of ways to make my games "feel" different.
I think I might've finally reached the end of my AGameAWeek journey.
As such, late last night, I finally passed on the torch.
From here onwards, AGameAWeek will be run by someone else, who I won't be revealing just yet. (He's due to make a blog post before the day's up)
Someone who's proven that he can achieve the rate of AGameAWeek.
Someone with plenty of fresh ideas.
Someone that isn't stuck in the rut that I am, and who can hopefully generate games with a little more variety than I've done over the past year or so.

Nintendo's first fully fledged App has hit the mobile appstores.
Miitomo works a bit like Tomodachi Life, except it allows Miis to interact over the net.
It's like a weird blend between Ask.fm and Tomodachi Life, whereby Nintendo send out random sets of questions, everyone answers them, and then your Miis tell you what other people answered.
